Random Thoughts on Leadership

At the Drive Conference this year, Andy Stanley shared some random thoughts on leadership; including some quotes that he keeps before his eyes – his heart – his mind.

Some of the quotes so caught my attention that I’ve asked Pastor Doyle to make cool graphics of them to hang in our main office hallway – to keep them before my/our eyes – my/our hearts – my/our minds.

Here are the quotes that will be hanging on our walls in just a few days.   I hope they’ll challenge your eyes – your heart – your mind.

To reach people no one else is reaching, we must do things no one else is doing.

The next generation product almost never comes from the previous generation.

We can survive mistakes and bad decisions, but we cannot survive a culture of mistrust.

When your memories exceed your dreams, the end is near.

When I expect to be served and am unwilling to serve, it’s an insult to the Son of God.
