Nov. 23 * Truly A Miracle Sunday

After 21 days of fasting, praying and seeking God, Sunday Nov. 23 was certainly a miracle Sunday!   The generosity of the Grace Fellowship Family to serve and give is amazing.

We are still compiling the Celebration Offering and Commitments, but already know it’s a miracle.   I’ll be sharing the totals with you on Sunday, Dec. 7th.

The Thanksgiving Family Festival was amazing!  I don’t know actual estimate yet, but I’m sure well over 1000 people showed up with their kids in tow for an afternoon that was just incredible.  Janet and I had a blast walking around – talking with folks – and seeing the joy on the faces of those who attended.   Our entire staff team did a great job, but Pastor Rocky, Pastor Jeremy and Melissa Lamb deserve a great big thanks for all their work in heading up this event.  They put together an awesome team of people who led and served; this team was simply amazing.  I’m sure we’ll have a pretty cool video with some moving and very funny footage to show this coming Sunday!

In addition to serving thousands of hotdogs and a ton of cotton candy, popcorn and softdrinks at the Festival, through the generosity of our church family we’re able to provide thanksgiving meals for over 100 under-resourced families in our area.

Both Sunday services were filled and we had a great time of worship and challenge.  If you’re reading this, and didn’t make the service I suggest you check it out on the podcast or call and order a copy of the CD.  It was an amazing service.  Several people made first time commitments to Christ and the WALL OF FAITH that we built in the Atrium (lobby) was an incredible reminder of the power of everyone coming together in faith.  I’m praying that those of you who added your bricks and prayers to THE WALL will see God do miraculous things in your life in the coming weeks.

All in all – it was just a fantastic day.  As we say around GFC; God is Good -All The Time.  And remember:  When We’re All In – Everyone Wins!

Bless you,
Pastor BJ
