I hope you are having (or have had) a wonderful Christmas. We’ve certainly enjoyed some great time with family and friends this year. I also hope you’ll reflect on the true meaning of the season as you remember that the baby born in Bethlehem is our Savior – the Christ who died on the cross so you and I could experience God’s grace, forgiveness and eternal life.
The Grace Fellowship Christmas Celebration (Jim & Jim Christmas Show 2) was great again this year. We had over 2100 people attend and as far as we know at this time, 71 people made commitments of their life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That alone fires me up! I got to meet several of the people who made commitments and it was way cool!!!!
One of our ladies who serves so faithfully and is a blessing to our church had her grown son at the program. I’ll leave her name out for now so she can share her story, but it was so cool! She brought him out to meet me and the joy in her eyes and on her face was indescribeable! Her son trusted Christ and she was beaming. She introduced him to me and then took him to the Info Table to meet Marc Moore and get his Starting Point packet. That one experience made the whole night incredible for me.
I look forward to the coming year and what God is going to do with us and through our church family. Let’s maintain a posture of obedience, humility and faith as we face a new year with endless opportunities to serve our Lord.
71 people saved! Man, that is awesome! Thanks for posting the total known, BJ. I was wondering if I was going to have to wait until Sunday to find out. 🙂
Praise the Lord!
Happy Birthday Pastor BJ and thank you, my feet need rocks on them to hold me down. I am so happy for my son. I felt like I hit the jackpot and he felt God:) I told him it doesn’t stop there, its just the beginning, to get in that Bible and don’t look back. Life in Gods word is a gift, seek it and live it and spread it around. Go tell the whole world that Christ lives in your heart now. He smiled at me and said ok Mom. God IS so Good.
