Goodbye To The Good Stuff

That’s a Chicken Fried Steak at Zentner’s Daughter in San Angelo; still one of the best anywhere.  I enjoyed it (one last time) during the holidays.  Now I’m being challenged by some of our staff and people to a weight loss contest. (because I need it is what I’ve heard) I’m supposed to eat more healthy (and a lot less than what you see in that picture).

So I guess I’ll take the challenge – needed to do it regardless.  By the way, does anybody know if Gumbo is healthy?  (ok – if not – I can still have the grilled Tilapia)   We ate at Go Go Gumbo in Boyd the other night and it was great!!!!  They have a dessert called “To Die For” and it’s rightly named!  But that’s off limits now too.

So – if you think about it – pray for me in the coming days.  Once again, I need to get serious about my eating and exercise habits.  I want us to have a healthy church (spiritually, emotionally & physcially)  and a part of that is having healthy leaders.  Maybe the healthy stuff (food) will become the good stuff so I don’t have to say goodbye again this time next year.
