Psalm 32 has long been a favorite and I read it in my time alone with God this morning (as a pary of my reading plan to read through the Bible this year).  It was great to pause and think on the incredible truth in this Psalm.  As I’ve shared before, one of the greatest joys for me in committing my life to Jesus was knowing that my sin – my guilt – my rebellion – my wickedness – was ALL FORGIVEN & GONE.  I absolultely love this phrase from verse 2: “Yes, what joy for those  whose record the LORD has cleared of guilt.”   Judicially and eternally I’ve been cleared of all the charges and accusations against me and of all the guilt that was mine!   That’s a big WOW!    Verse 5 is another big WOW verse:  “Finally, I confessed all my sins to you  and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.”  And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.” 

If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior – take a moment to savor these verses – or the entire Psalm – and then thank Him for the forgiveness that is yours through what He did on the cross and through the resurrection.  If you’re not yet a Christ-follower, why wait any longer.   Give your heart to Jesus today and experience the joy of being cleared of all your guilt!
