On the front page of today’s Bridgeport INDEX is a photo of our Student and Family Pastor – Rocky Johnson. It’s a great color photo; he looks so hip and cool. It’s also a little funny, because his photo is lined up where it looks like its a part of a column titled: “Grand Jury issues felony indictments”! By the way – Rocky’s not part of the Grand Jury article; there’s a great story about him on the front page, but the location of his photo is just funny! One of our church leaders who saw the paper jokingly told me today: “I always thought there was something different about that guy!”

Felony indictment, huh? It was bound to happen eventually.
After surviving the summer you hired us both as interns, I can’t believe you have this man on your staff! I hope you don’t feel responsible for him. Seriously, BJ, you’ve endured more than a reasonable person should be expected.
Does he still roll your house on a regular basis? Does he still do that thing where he yells at the top of his lungs for no apparent reason while riding as a passenger in your car? I don’t know how I kept from wrecking that summer. Does he still have the attention span of a newt? Does he lick one Dorito, put it back in the bag and then shake the bag before he offers you a chip?
I love that boy.
