In my time alone in God’s Word today – I read Proverbs 12:25 which says: “Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up”. This made me think of 1 Thess. 5:11 which says: “So encourage each other and build each other up…”
Sometimes we try to make applying God’s Word so hard. It’s not usually as hard as we make it; we just need to DO IT. In light of all we celebrate this Easter weekend – it shouldn’t be too hard to apply the truth from these passages. If you’re a follower of Christ, the least you (and I) can do is be an encourager. Think about it.
