I’m so pumped about this weekend at Grace. I’ve been out two weeks and can’t wait to be with our folks this Sunday. We’re starting a new series called joyRIDE; it’s going to be incredible. As the title suggests – it’s all about JOY. I’ve been psyched about getting ready for it – studying – working on my talk. Yesterday, I’m going through all my notes on the PC but it was running incredibly slow. So I decided to run some help software and then delete a program I almost never use. What I thought would take a few minutes turned into hours and then when I deleted the program, all the Word files on my computer were changed to another format (no – I didn’t delete Office or Word). It was bizarre – so I had to go back and reload software – hoping my effort would restore the files – it did. I’m no PC genuis and probably did something wrong, but man my “joy” was sabotaged yesterday. Actually, my joy stayed intact, but my attitude was questionable for a little while. I wanted to dismantle my PC – with a shotgun. I didn’t, and it’s working fine now. I’ve been a hard core PC user for years, but maybe it’s time for a change in computer world for me. All my staff keeps telling me I need to enter the joy they call “Mac World”.
