In my time alone with God today – I read Luke 16. Vs 15 really jumped off the page when I read it: “But Jesus told them: You are always making yourselves look good, but God sees what is in your heart. The things that most people think are important are worthless as far as God is concerned.”
It was a simple straightforward reminder that I want to value the things that God values. I want the things He says are important to be the most important things in my life. I don’t want to invest my time, talents or treasure in things that are worthless in God’s sight – I want to invest them in things that matter most to Him.
