Here’s one interesting thought from chapter 4. The existing vocabulary in a church is seldom analyzed – and even less often challenged – b/c the choice of terms is ritualized in an airtight tradition. Many churches still use the same vocabulary they used decades ago. As the culture changes around us, we sound increasingly irrelevant.
