Happy to Do It

I’m reading Randy Draper’s new book – Happy to Do It (Get Your SNAP On).   The first chapter is worth the price of the entire book.  Our staff at Grace Fellowship will be reading the book together.  Here are a couple of quotes that rock from the first chapter.

My joy is not in what I have or don’t have, but in the depth of my relationships.

Helping others really does more for me than it will ever do for them.

The secret to living a life of purpose is to realizing that God put us here to enrich the lives of others.

Where there is no contentment, there is no happiness.

Obedience + Contentment = Happiness

Your worth and value are in who you are, an individual made in the image of God, not in what you look like, where you live, and what you drive.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever your circumstances – attitude is everything!

Don’t Worry + Instead Pray = Peace

Being a Christian isn’t a way of doing certain things; it’s a certain way of doing everything.
