The Rolling Stones?

This may surprise you (it surprised me), but as I was reading Mt 5 this morning The Rolling Stones song “Satisfaction” came to my mind.   Maybe it’s because the song came on the radio where I was working out Wednesday.

I recalled the fact that I was never a big Rolling Stones fan, but I did like their song “Satisfaction”.  It’s still an anthem for a large number of people – even people who’ve never heard the song – because so many people live like they can’t get no satisifaction.

In light of this, Mt. 5:6 states: Blessed [happy] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,  for they will be filled [satisfied].   If you want to experience the greatest satisfaction & contentment in life – quit chasing after trivial things – rather, hunger & thirst after the things that God says are right & just.
