What A Way To Start The Day

What a way to start the day.  I started the day as a new grandfather – kissed the hottest grandmother in the world (my wife!) – having starbucks – and headed to the hospital in a few minutes to hold Barrett Christopher again & see Julie & Chris!

No way to describe all the emotions and joy of yesterday as Barrett was born.  Barrett Christopher Hurst entered the world at 3:55pm – 6lbs 12oz – 19 1/2″ long – and may I say BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME.  Many people were praying yesterday (and before); many prayers answered – THANK YOU.

Yes – I’m still on track with the BIGGER CHALLENGE and will continue to blog on various passages I read as we take this challenge together….but the past few days have been a whirlwind and haven’t had time to write anything.  Thanks for following – hope you’ll join the conversation and share what your learning as we read God’s Word together.
