The Table Group

Meeting with reps from Patrick Lencioni’s company The Table Group over a  couple of days.  Pat Richie and David Simpson have challenged our socks off. 

I hope to share more later, but a couple of the big ideas for me during the day were along the following lines…..

“The more likely we are to hold people accountable, the fewer opportunities we have to do so.”  THINK ABOUT IT !   

The issue isn’t how SMART you are in the way you go about your work/ministry, but rather how HEALTHY is your team and organization. 

When Iron sharpens Iron – sparks fly and the sharpening process is not always pleasant for the iron – but it’s worth it,  and healthy conflict can be a lot like this.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977 They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter. BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church. BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship. BJ is the Legacy Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, TX.
