Hope Unseen is one of the most inspirational books I’ve read in years. It was captivating & motivating. It contains the story of Captain Scotty Smiley who is the US Army’s first blind active-duty officer. Scotty lost his sight to a terrorist car bomber in Iraq while serving his country. He, and his wife Tiffany, document their incredible journey in this moving book and they will be the featured guests this Sunday, July 1st, at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise Texas.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977
They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter.
BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church.
