ENCOURAGEMENT

A couple of weeks back I did a message on Winning With Encouragement.  I want you to know how great it is to serve God in such an incredible family of faith called Grace Fellowship.  I’m so thankful for our staff, leadership and volunteer teams and the ways you serve Christ & encourage one another.  Thousands of lives have been changed for eternity by “the miracle in the cow pasture” and you all have a significant part in this.

I’m also thankful for your personal encouragement to me.  I need to consistently apply the truth of the message on encouragement, and am thankful & humbled that you are applying it on my behalf.

Janet and I had a wonderful time in our Life Group’s Thanksgiving gathering on Sunday night.  Brent & Penny Hurd have done a fantastic job with this group and took time to write an encouraging note to each of the members.  In addition, the group gave Janet and me a card filled with notes of blessing which were so encouraging.

Let’s strive to be the most encouraging church ever; holding each other accountable, believing in people & cheering them on as we seek to serve the purpose & cause of Jesus Christ as He described in Luke 19:10
