Authentic is one of the current cultural buzzwords, but it was also part of the theme of John’s letter in the New Testament called 1st John. In this short letter, John outlines several ways we can know if what we have is real / authentic – when it comes to a relationship with God & eternal life. Let me encourage you to examine the entire letter and see what you discover. I believe there are seven specific ways John tells us we can know for sure we have eternal life & a relationship with God. BJ & Janet were married in July 1977
