VETERANS DAY

I was so grateful for the incredible response of our church family to all the Veterans who were in our services at Grace Fellowship yesterday, and since today is Veterans Day I hope you’ll join me in thanking God for the men & women who have served our country and made countless sacrifices to protect our freedoms. I’m thankful for my father who enlisted as a teenager to serve in the Navy in WW2. I hope you’ll also join me in praying for the men & women who are currently serving our country; pray for their protection and for peace for their families as they are deployed all over the world. I hope & pray we never take for granted the sacrifices they make on our behalf. I pray that we will continue to fight for the freedoms they made possible for us to enjoy.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977 They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter. BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church. BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship. BJ is the Legacy Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, TX.
