Today our youngest son Josh turns 27. We’re so proud of him, just as we are of his brother Jeremy, and sister Julie. We are thankful they continue to follow Christ and have used wisdom in finding their mates. Even though John wasn’t talking about his physical children – 3 John 4 has always been a part of our prayer for our kids. 3 John 4 says: “I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth.” Our greatest joy is to know that our children are following the truth of Jesus Christ.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977
They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter.
BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church.
BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship.
BJ is the Legacy Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, TX.
