Step Out Of The Traffic

One of the key things I saw clearly this past week at The Blessing Ranch and my time with Dr. John Walker (highly recommended) was the necessity of intentional dependence.  One of my assignments was to contemplate and reflect on things I was understanding/learning/getting again/being reminded of (ok you get the picture).  As I was intentional about pulling away from the normal noise of life for a short period of time to read the Bible and reflect I recalled Ps. 46:10 but decided to look it up in the Message paraphrase.  The words jumped off the page for me; ponder them for a moment….

Ps 46:10 “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.”
