Many Pastors and Leaders who continue to lead well develop a “voice”. It’s like the old EF Hutton commercial; when they speak – people tend to listen. This “voice” is usually forged over time and is a good thing unless that leader drifts into the demise of thinking it’s their voice that matters.
I woke up early this morning and felt prompted to read Psalm 29. It is another key in my journey this summer as God is teaching me more about dependence upon Him. Ps 29:1-9 is an incredible reminder that it’s “the voice of the Lord” that matters and makes the difference. To lead well – we need to listen well and hear the voice of the Lord. His Voice is majestic – His Voice is powerful – His Voice breaks down barriers – His Voice matters.
