I recently spent a week with Dr. John Walker at the Blessing Ranch near Livermore, CO.  He’s a counselor who primarily deals with Pastors, Missionaries and those involved in leadership & ministry.  He works with leaders in crisis, and in helping people understand themselves more and take the next step up in their leadership.  I didn’t go because of any crisis.  Instead, it was a great time for me to experience personal growth, and learn some new ways to take the next steps in my leadership at Grace Fellowship.  We talked about being “old warhorses” who wanted to serve well and finish well for God’s glory.   I was excited when I got there and even more excited when I left.  I am enjoying and learning much during this sabbatical, and am so thankful to be given this time by the MLT and our church family.  I’m also stoked and energized, and can’t wait to get back!!!!
