Last night my 4 year old grandson Barrett wanted to FaceTime me and Nonni (my wife – his grandmother). He’d learned a new memory verse and wanted to share it with us. As he quoted Rom. 5:8 my heart was filled with joy. I’m grateful his heart is being filled with the truth of God’s Word. 3 John 1:4 says I have no greater joy than to know my children are walking in truth. This has been our prayer for our children and is now our prayer for our grandchildren.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977
They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter.
BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church.
BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship.
