REPLENISH – Lance Witt

Lance Witt, the author of REPLENISH, was the guest speaker at our all staff lunch today at Grace Fellowship. He was awesome! REPLENISH is a book I believe every Pastor and Ministry Leader should read.

A couple of great takeaways for me from our staff lunch with Lance follow:

The greatest gift we can give those we lead is a healthy soul.

Jesus created SPACE in order to spend time alone with His Father. Mark 1:35 – In that quiet place, He got his next set of instructions from God the Father.

You can’t lead at warp speed without warping your soul.

Be intentional about creating SPACE. Your quality of life has to do with the SPACE in your life.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977 They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter. BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church. BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship. BJ is the Legacy Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, TX.
