Cancer & Food Donation

We begin our BE RICH Campaign at Grace Fellowship officially on Sunday, November 15th, but we’ve actually already begun.

I’m so proud of our church family as you’re already bringing hundreds upon hundreds of Thanksgiving Meal Bags which will enable us to provide meals for hundreds of families this Thanksgiving.  And in light of last weeks attendance, we’ll be giving right at $10,000 for Cancer related ministries and research.

I can’t wait to see what God does as we unleash an avalanche of generosity upon our local and global partners this month.

Remember, we don’t give to get; we give because it honors and pleases God.  There are four places in the scripture where the phrase “well pleasing to God” is used in the original language of the New Testament.  One instance is in Philippians 4:15-20; the gift of generous giving is well-pleasing to God (vs. 18 NASB).

Bless you!   I Can’t Wait To See What Happens This Month!

PS: The other instances of the phrase “well-pleasing to God” are found in Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 13:15 and Hebrews 13:16.
