5 Things To Do Before You Open Your Mouth

Someone once said: Even a woodpecker owes his success to the fact that he uses his head.  Scripture says words carry the power of death and life, so most of us should use our head and do a little more thinking before we open our mouth physically or voice our opinions on social media.  We need to THINK before we speak.  To do this, I suggest you ask yourself things like…

Is it             Truthful – and full of grace?

Is it             Helpful – things can be true and not help the situation or relationships?

Is it            Inspiring – does it bring healing or unrest?

Is it             Necessary – or will it add to confusion?

It is             Kind – is it the kind of thing you’d want said about you; is it loving?

PROVERBS 16:23a (GNB)   says:  Intelligent people think before they speak;
