ENGAGE IN PRAYER – Day 10 – July 30

Engage = to do, or to take part in something.

Jesus said:  9 “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread. 12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.’” Matthew 6:9-12 NASB

Jesus isn’t talking about financial debts here. In a more recent translation, verse 11 reads: and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. Matthew 6:12 NLT

What would happen if God forgave you like you forgive others?

What part does right relationships with people play in the pattern for prayer Jesus told us to follow?

If you’re unwilling to forgive, how do you think that impacts your prayer?

What’s the wise thing to do?
