ENGAGE IN PRAYER – Day 12 – August 1

Engage = to do, or to take part in something.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

This is one of my favorite passages.  If you were trying to explain this to a child, what would you say?  What should we pray about? Why do you think Paul said: “thank him for all he has done”?  What do you think he means by saying His peace will guard your hearts and minds “as you live in Christ Jesus?”

What’s the wise thing to do?
