One of my favorite photos from 2004. I told our Staff Of Volunteers we needed a baptism team when I first got here. What’s that they asked. I told them we’d need a team to help with all the baptisms I believed we’d celebrate together. Our first baptism after I came as Pastor was our LEAP YEAR BAPTISM on Feb. 29, 2004. It was amazing as we baptized 28 new believers in the Kaker’s pool. Mrs. Rosie Vaught, who prayed for 50 years for a church like Grace to be birthed in Wise County is sitting right at the front of the crowd! She rarely missed a service or a baptism celebration!
