Celebrating our 15th Birthday this month!
This was our in-house (homemade) mailer for our first Easter together in 2004. I’d met Jerry Burnett in San Angelo in March and invited NEW MERCY to lead worship for us on Easter. It was an amazing Easter as we had 977 people show up and were blown away as we got to share the good news and truth about the resurrection of Jesus Christ with so many people! We also got to see the joy of hundreds of kids who looked like ants clearing a field as they picked up 5000 easter eggs in about a minute.

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977
They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter.
BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church.
BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship.
BJ is the Legacy Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, TX.
