Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 TLB
I’ve used a simple structure for prayer at many times in my life called ACTS in Prayer. As we pray for LIGHT, our Christmas services on December 22 & 23, we’ll use ACTS in Prayer as a guide. (Refer to Dec. 2-7 for an explanation of ACTS in Prayer if you need it) Please spend a few moments doing each of these…
A = Adoration
C = Confession
T = Thanksgiving
S = Supplication
Spend some time talking to God about your own needs and begin to thank Him for His blessings. Maybe you’re concerned about someone in your family who’s far from God. Today is a good time to talk to God about them. Focus on God and His power and let your worry give way to God’s peace. Ask God to give you the ability and power to love them as you should. If they live in the area, pray for them to attend LIGHT and for their heart to be open to God’s grace and love. Ask God to give you an opportunity to invite them to attend with you. Regardless of their response, ask God to empower you to love them as He desires.

I’m going to try something and hope it works. If not, my apologies; this is my first time to try this. Below is a Starbucks Card and Code. Use it to have a cup of coffee on us today – until the card balance runs out. You might want to ask them to check and make sure of balance before you get your cup of coffee! I don’t know how to do this either, but if you want to add to the balance to bless someone else, feel free to do so at any Starbucks store.
