Friday night we had a “Staff Kid’s” Christmas party for all the ones who could make it. And since Alan & Jeannine Powers were so generous to open their farm and barn to host it, I wanted their kids to get in on the fun. Parents and kids enjoyed a cooking hot dogs and smores over a fire – a hayride – and lots of laughter. In addition, one of the joys for Janet and me was to give the kids an early Christmas gift and then get them all together for some photos like the ones below. We have a great staff with wonderful families. It was a fun fun fun night !

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977
They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter.
BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church.
BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship.
