INCREDIBLE

I use the word “INCREDIBLE” a lot, but I never want it to become commonplace.  When I talk about the INCREDIBLE things God is doing in and through Grace Fellowship; I never want us to take that for granted.  I am truly amazed, delighted and excited to be a part of what God is doing here and we are just getting started.

This past Easter weekend was awesome.  The worship was incredible and I’ve heard so many comments about the creative elements in the service as we very simply shared the truth of Jesus Christ – and what His death and resurrection means.  In spite of stormy/rainy weather we still had over 2300 people attend our services and the most INCREDIBLE thing was that 18 of them made commitments of their lives to Jesus Christ!  Again – that’s just INCREDIBLE!

In addition to this, I’ve been given a report listing the people who have made commitments to Christ here at GFC since Jan. 1 of this year.  Again, I was pumped and thought – “Lord, you are doing an INCREDIBLE work here – what a privilege to serve You!”  Since Jan. 1 we’ve had 45 adults, 19 students, and 4 children that we know about who have made commitments to Jesus Christ during our main services from 14 different towns!   INCREDIBLE!

I hope we never forget the INCREDIBLE blessing and responsibility that comes with sharing the truth of Jesus Christ with those around us.  We’ll have our Spring Baptism on April 26th during both services.  It will be an INCREDIBLE reminder of why we do what we do.

By the way – if you parked cars, prayed, changed diapers, greeted people, helped usher, taught kids, helped with students, ran lights or sound, helped with props, invited someone, led a small group, etc etc etc —–  REMEMBER YOU HAD A PART IN EVERY ONE OF THESE CHANGED LIVES !!!!!    And that’s just INCREDIBLE!
