Power of the Resurrection

This coming weekend, people around the world will celebrate the most significant event in history; the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you’re not a follower of Jesus Christ, I hope you’ll consider the eyewitness evidence and manuscript history that documents this event. If you are a follower of Jesus, I ask that you consider the truth of the following verses and what they could mean for your life, marriage, work, relationships, parenting, etc….

I also pray that your mind might see more clearly. Then you will know the hope God has chosen you to receive. You will know that the things God’s people will receive are rich and glorious. And you will know his great power. It can’t be compared with anything else. It is at work for us who believe. It is like the mighty strength God showed when he raised Christ from the dead. He seated him at his right hand in his heavenly kingdom. Eph. 1:18-20 NIrV

BJ & Janet were married in July 1977 They have three grown children who are all married: Jeremy & Whitney Rutledge, Chris & Julie Hurst, and Josh and Hannah Rutledge. They also have five grandsons, and a granddaughter. BJ says perhaps our greatest legacy is even though our kids are PK's, they love Jesus and are all involved in ministry in the local church. BJ has served at churches in Dallas - Bossier City, LA - Houston - and was at Fellowship of the Woodlands (Woodlands Church) in The Woodlands before coming to Grace Fellowship. BJ is the Legacy Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, TX.
