In my Quiet Time this past week I read Ephesians 5. My “Quiet Time” is time I spend alone with God as I read Scripture and pray. I’ve read this portion of Paul’s letter to the people who made up the church at Ephesus many times, but this week I highlighted the word WALK. Our WALK is the WAY we live.
The word “WALK” shows up in three verses in Eph. 5; giving us some very clear instruction on how we should live as followers of Christ. Take a moment to evaluate your life in light of these…
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Eph. 5:2 ESV
for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Eph 5:8 ESV
15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Eph. 5:15-16 ESV
