Christmas has been pretty crazy this year with all that’s been going on. We took Josh to the airport today (Christmas) to see him off to Kenya. He is going for an 11 day mission trip. When the Daraja Choir from Kenya was at our church, Josh felt a strong sense that God wanted him to go. He prayed about it and sent out letters asking for prayer and financial support; the response was amazing and his trip was paid for within a matter of weeks.
He was a little nervous when he left today since he’s never been out of the country and he doesn’t know a single person going on this trip, but he was also very excited about what God has for him in Kenya. Not only will he be serving in various ways, this is also the 410 Bridge Kenya Christmas Trip; he’ll get to help distribute gifts to many of the needy children in the area where he’ll serve. He’s pretty pumped about distributing gifts and the chance to see some of the children from the Daraja Choir.
We are very proud of him for his faith and obedience. As you read this blog, I’d ask that you pray for him and the rest of the members of his team. If you’d like to keep up with the trip, they have a website which is: http://410christmasinkenya.blogspot.com
